The pinning queen. Sarah is the DIY (what did this mean again?!) bride! While I do love to be a part of every wedding I photograph, there are a couple every year that I really look forward to for some reason or another. It seems like each day Sarah was teasing me with the details she was orchestrating prior to the wedding. Instagram is really an amazing thing, interpeeps (yeah, it’s a word). I can’t even believe just how beautiful the entire event was from start to finish. Sarah even knew the perfect places to hang her and her bridesmaids dresses for me to photograph! The Frog Pond Bed & Breakfast in Skaneateles really is a very elegant and timeless venue. And to tie it all together, Cindy Ormond of Ormond Entertainment was in charge of our evening timeline (a really classy DJ company, by the way)!
Sarah & AJ, I feel so lucky (and I know I said this a million times this past Saturday) to document your special day. I’m sending much love and appreciation your way while you’re in Jamaica, sippin’ on sunshine.
Because, you’re worth it! I loved the little words of inspiration around the salon
Mom helping with the finishing touches…
All pre-hung for me. These girls rock!
The groom forgot his dress shirt, so his awesome guys bought a new one from Roland’s
(But shhh, it’s a secret….hehe)
Boys will be boys…
Like I said: helpful guys!
A little liquid courage, and a mustache to boot!
Such a cutie…
The bride waits for her groom…. for the first look!
What a beautiful setting for their First Look!
Show it off, girl!
Sarah, you’re drop dead gorgeous!!
Look at these outfits!!!
A little brotherly love…
The Frog Pond was decorated by Sarah, and she did such a beautiful job with all of the DIY details!
A very emotional ceremony
A little while after the ceremony, Sarah and AJ snuck off to take a moment to themselves (or so they thought)…
Let’s have some fun!
A beautifully choreographed first dance!
Some outdoor entertainment with a “secret bar”
And an awesome exit to end the night!
