Syracuse Wedding Photographer – Ronda & Chad Engagement

Ronda was a cheerleader in high school. In fact, the head cheerleader at our high school. Actually, I think the first time we met was when I joined the high school cheerleading squad (yes, I was a cheerleader. weird, huh?).

But this post isn’t about me! It’s about Ronda and Chad. I’ve known Ronda for years, and she is one of the most down to Earth, bubbly girls I know. I don’t think I’ve ever really seen her get angry at anyone, and if she did, she certainly didn’t sound angry (sorry Ronda, you’re just not scary, hehe). I have a lot of respect for her and I feel incredibly lucky to be her photographer.

Chad, you seem like a wonderful person, and I really think you two are lucky to have each other, as well as cute little Dominic! You’re a perfect match! I can’t wait for the big day (which is certainly flying up on us isn’t it?!)

Words really can’t express how happy I am to know the both of you.

So on to the pictures!

I was very impressed with Cat’s work they turned out nice Ronda! I love them all. I very much wanted to appologize to Cat for the day of the pictures for being so emotional and trying to enjoy my daughters pictures; but at the same time I was going through losing someone (who was considered as a son to me)because his life was taken by another. I only wished he could’ve enjoyed this happiness my daughter and her new to be husband is experiencing now one day. I love ya babygirl!

Nice pictures baby, only way they could of been better is if they had my pretty face in there too…. LOL, You and Chad I wish all the luck in the world, marriage is tough and it takes a lot of work, but well worth it in the end. I will be married this year for 30 years.

Me Day?

I wasn’t expecting today to turn into a me-day, since I’ve had so much to do lately. I went to the mall to meet up with Patrick for lunch and mail out a bunch of CD’s to clients. I ended up getting a mini-makeover while I was there. I can’t believe how the mall sucks you into this, but I’m super happy it did! I feel great right now!

I also wasn’t expecting to make a second blog post today, but hey! Why not?

Patrick has been wanting me to cut my hair short, but since I’m in no way shape or form interested in doing such a crazy thing, I decided to compromise with:

BANGS! I told the woman (Gina by the way from Regis in the Carousel Center) that I wanted a trim to get rid of those dead ends, layers, and….bangs? Yeah, I told her bangs. I was terrified when I looked in the mirror after she cut them. Why? Because I have these awful braces, my hair was wet and a total mess. I looked 16 again! I took a deep breath and decided it was probably best NOT to look at the mirror again until she was done. Boy am I happy I did.

So this is my little note to the world: try something different, something you didn’t expect to do. Stepping out of that box can be one of the best decisions you’ve made lately.:)

Syracuse Wedding Photographer – Meg & Don’s Glenora Wedding

Megan is one of those girls who you look at and instantly whatever may be bothering you melts away. Her bubbly personality and carefree style really made this wedding very relaxing! Don is also very laid back and definitely a perfect match for Megan. While I thought it was adorable that Megan wanted to have a wedding every year (I don’t know if I’ll ever hear a bride say those words again!), I highly doubt it’ll be necessary. Just toss yourselves a few awesome anniversary parties, guys! The wedding took place at the Glenora Wine Cellars, and let me just say that it was an awesome setting for an awesome couple. Congrats Meg & Don!

Syracuse Wedding Photographer – Janelle & Joel NYC Engagement

They saw each other at a party, and that’s how it happened. Plain and simple, but it totally worked! They don’t particularly think of themselves as super-fun (actually I believe she said they were boring). I totally disagree;)

Saad and I can’t wait for the wedding!:)
